Do you wish you could be an adult just for ONE DAY? Then you should attend My Dream Life!

At this fun, interactive adventure, Girl Scout Daisies through Cadettes (Grades K – 8) will get to try out different careers, then gain experience at earning, saving, and spending “money” all in the Dream Life world we create!

You will get to:

  • Open a bank account to keep your money safe;
  • Interact with real-life professionals while you determine your dream job;
  • Earn a paycheck and plan how you spend your money;
  • Then relax with a well-earned vacation!

Plus you’ll receive a fun patch and other fun swag! This signature program is presented by the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana and RSM, a global financial firm.

The energy industry is a fast-growing field, and women are joining the ranks more and more! Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes (Grades 4-8) are invited to join GCNWI for a Career Exploration Day with INTREN, a leader in design and construction to support the electricity and gas industries.

At this event, you’ll learn how Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) play a role in energy careers. Plus, you will:

  • Meet women who are changing the energy industry and taking the lead;
  • Get hands-on experience building your own electrical circuit;
  • Get up close and personal with the technology that goes into construction equipment;
  • Learn about the varied careers available in the field, like Human Resources and Marketing;
  • Plus receive a fun patch!

Motorola Solutions provides critical services, software, and technology for the women and men in the public safety sector who keep our communities safe.

ANSWER: They’re all developed by PepsiCo using Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM)!

Girl Scout Cadettes (Grades 6-8) are invited to join GSGCNWI at PepsiCo’s Research and Development Center for a Career Exploration Day! You’ll see first-hand how education in STEAM can lead to a variety of careers.

During this day you’ll get to meet the PepsiCo product developers themselves and learn all the steps it takes for a company to develop many of the tasty foods found at your local supermarket. Then you’ll even get to create your own new product!
