Our Volunteers | Powering Community

From troop leaders to cookie captains, our amazing council volunteers are the heart of Girl Scouts. Their energy, talent, and unyielding confidence in the power of the girl keeps our heartbeat strong.

To all the mentors, leaders, changemakers, and explorers who volunteer with us; thank you. Thanks to your leadership and know-how, our Girl Scouts have learned to listen to their hearts, think on their feet, and speak up for what they believe in. Thank you for giving girls the space to test their ideas and express their feelings about our ever-changing world.

Because of you we have resilience. Because of you we have role models. Because of you we have Girl Scouts.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

“I’m [involved] in Girl Scouts because it was always a safe place for me, even though I moved around a lot as a kid. It was a place I was always accepted and knew I’d be safe.

The Trauma Informed Training reinforced how vital Girl Scouts is. We need it now more than ever. It’s not just a social club. Our girls need us. This was the perfect time for this training. It was motivational, inclusive, and one of the best I’ve taken, and I’m a trainer. It was beyond awesome.”
